We Got Third Place
Afer our first speed puzzling event, my cousin and I knew we had to do it again. The only challenge was that the upcoming events required us to expand our team to 4-5 people. We contemplated waiting until the next competition but due to our availability, we wanted to make this one work. I reached out to one of my best friends who is also a big puzzler. She was in. And I reached out to my sorority sister. While she wasn't available, she recommended one of her co-workers to join us. That brought us to four people. Our team was good to go.
Another Patriotic Puzzle
We never know the puzzle we're going to build leading up to these events. When they announced that it was a patriotic puzzle, for a moment I thought it was the one I built last week. But it wasn't.

The event was a lot of fun. There were more teams competing this time around, probably around 12 teams with 4-5 people each. I think I saw one team with three folks but they were way behind. Luckily, our team shared a few strategies before getting started so that we can remain organized with more people. It went really well. We did really good and got third place! I initially thought we got second but third is fine. We were so happy! We can't wait to do another one!
