The Women In My Life
This post is a little tribute to my primas.1 We grew up together. Family parties, birthdays, babyshowers, graduations, weddings -- any milestone you can think of -- we've celebrated together. Not just in the good times but we've also been there for one another in the tough times: separations, break-ups, divorce, job loss, immigration issues, and more...
We aren't just cousins, we're sisters.
This Women's History Month, I'm feeling especially grateful for the women in my corner. I'm also amazed at how much we've achieved specifically when it comes to our education and careers. In our group alone, we cover communications, accounting, nursing, social work, education, and entrepreneurship. Wow, just, wow. I tip my hat off to our parents, who never got the chance to go to school yet never stopped believing in us to achieve our goals.
I don't say it often but I love my primas and admire them more than they'll ever know ♡
