My first speed puzzling event
Yesterday, I competed in my first speed puzzling event with my prima. It's one of those things I never knew I always wanted to do. My cousin is an avid puzzler and as of recent, so am I.
Hosted by a new small business in town, we paid $22 each and it was so worth the money. Not only did we get access to play, but we also got a choice of a drink (Pinot Grigio) and snack (chips & guac) which were both pretty good. Teams could consist of 2-4 people, and the three teams who complete the puzzle first would receive a prize. There were also a few raffles. We won the first drawing which included free entries to a future puzzling event. And to top it all of, we get to keep the puzzle. Now that's a bang for our buck!

The first place winner completed the puzzle in one hour. Our goal was to get it done within the two hours alloted. We'll definitely be back to redeem ourselves. We did a really good job for it to be our first time. I'm just glad we got it done. I really enjoyed bonding with my prima and doing this activity together. We always build puzzles for leisure but this one challenged us in a fun way.
