The latest tea on my mom
I am embarrassed to share that I started watching trash TV on Netflix again. I didn’t get a subscription but my dad did and he didn’t log off before he left my house last family dinner.
I’ve scarcely picked up the show Age of Attraction. I probably would’ve binged it in a day or two but it’s taken me forever. It’s probably because around the time when I was watching episode 3, I was surprised to find out that my mom was posting someone new on her WhatsApp. My mom lives far away in Peru so social media is one of the main ways in which we try to stay connected.
Back to the post…I quickly texted my sister and she gave me a name she had seen popping up on my mom’s phone when she went to go visit her recently. After some investigation, referencing my mom’s mutual friends, we discovered the guy is 32 years old.
As you know, my mom turned 64 earlier this year. If the information we found is true, this dude is half her age and only a couple years older than me. Wtf, that’s crazy! My mom pretty much should’ve been on the show I was stalling to watch.
