People liking their own stuff
I used to laugh when I saw people "liking" their own posts on social media. It seemed silly but honestly the +1 is a reminder that you like your own stuff.
That's why I appreciate that Bear Blog defaults to one toast after we publish. Thank you for that, Herman. It's a perfect reminder that if I'm wanting to leave an impact with my writing, then at least I've already touched one soul: my own.
