π Now page inspired by Derek Silvers. Updated as of July 8, 2026 at 11:55am ET
I remember when I wrote my Now page back in March, I told myself that I'd plan to update it every three months. June felt so far away. Now it's July and there's less that 6 months left in 2026. Time is flying by. There's so much I've done and so much that I still want to do.
Back in April, I completed the leadership program at work. It gave me a new prespective into leadership especially on how important the emotional intelligence aspect is in order to thrive at work. Now that volleyball is over, I started soccer and continue playing pickleball. Anything to stay active. Beyond sports, we've also been dedicating time to date nights and outings. This past quarter alone, we watched Devil Wears Parada 2, Mario Galaxy, Michael, and most recently Toy Story 5, in theatres. The World Cup has taken over our summer, too. We've been following closely. With the U.S. out, I'm rooting for Spain. I think there's a chance, and I'm calling Spain vs. Norway in the finals. We just finished watching I Will Find You on Netflix, and it was REALLY good.
We're headed to Mexico soon for family vacation. My husband's 35th birthday is approaching and we'll get to witness our first sighting of one of the Wonders of the World. My puzzle hobby has remained pretty consistent. I'll be participating in my second Speed Puzzling event soon. I've also joined my husband for fishing a few times. I like it. We've even flirted with the idea of getting a kayak for bass fishing but not sure we will. We are getting closer to faith by attending couple's ministry, serving within our parish, praying the rosary daily, and spending more time in God's word. We trust in God especially when it comes to our continued longing to grow our family.

Ever since my boss passed away in December last year, I've been constantly reflecting on legacy and the importance of appreciating the little moments of joy every day.
I'm currently still grieving, adjusting to marriage, and figuring out homeownership. I've been reading a lot more and trying my best to stay away from social media. I've even set up a few Shortcut apps on my iPhone to help me jot down ideas and preserve memories without needing to share them on social. I've also been mentoring both formally and informally. On the work front, work has been really busy—the good kind. I was recently selected for a leadership program to help with my career development and growth opportunities at the company.
For fun, I'm watching High Potential, Grey's Anatomy, and Law & Order: SVU. I recently finished watching All Her Fault. 100% recommend. According to my husband, I have two songs on repeat: Yukon by Justin Bieber and Snooze by SZA. I've been breaking in some awesome office tech gear that I got for Christmas, and I just got back from a week away in El Salvador. I'm reading Digital Body Language and The Mastery of Love. Lastly, we've been TTC, so I've been prioritizing my health and getting active. I started playing pickleball and signed up for a volleyball league starting next month. And of course, I'm obsessed with Luna.π Reply via email
